Atlanta HH Film Festival

Case Study: 2006 Atlanta HipHop Film Festival (AHFF)
Client: Creative Circle Entertainment

Brief: Creative Circle Entertainment set out to produce their 2nd annual film festival, which was to take place over the course of 4 days. The festival included the following events: film screenings, an opening night gala, a block party, a special Dead Prez screening, and an awards show. To publicize this highly anticipated event, CBP was retained.

Strategy: CBP’s strategy was to position the awards show as a festival which enjoyed moderate success it’s first year, is making a comeback with bigger and better events and celebrities the second time around. We chose to emphasize stand-out films, unique festival events, community involvement and celebrity/ industry support.

Campaign: CBP serviced press releases announcing submissions, screenings, sponsorships, award show nominees, block party itinerary and the award show itself. CBP updated the current press kit and coordinated media sponsorships also. CBP also coordinated a Media Day, which announced the festival list of events, the honorees and nominees.
